I. DESCRIPCIÓN:
Comunicación
Oral I es parte del bloque de materias del sétimo ciclo del
Bachillerato en Inglés como Lengua Extranjera de la Universidad Técnica
Nacional. Con este curso se
continúa el desarrollo de la comunicación para lograr efectividad,
fluidez, espontaneidad e iniciativa oral en contextos familiares y
académicos para ser capaz de sostener diferentes puntos de vista en
varios formatos de presentación oral.
Comunicación
Oral I es de naturaleza práctica por lo que se pierde por inasistencia
al 20% de las sesiones (3) o su equivalente en tardías (6) y no ofrece
la opción de ser aprobado mediante examen extraordinario o prueba de
ampliación.
El curso se desarrolla en un cuatrimestre (14 semanas) y consta de 4 horas semanales.
Este curso tiene como requisito el curso ILE-611 Expresión Oral II y como co-requisito el curso ILE- 712 Gramática Aplicada.
II. OBJETIVOS GENERALES:
1. Desarrollar
la habilidad de expresarse efectiva y apropiadamente en inglés mediante
el estudio de diferentes técnicas académicas de expresión oral para
formular y debatir en contextos académicos formales y no formales.
2. Integrar
conocimientos y habilidades comunicativas mediante el desarrollo de
actividades controladas y semi-controladas con el fin de promover el
pensamiento crítico en contextos éticos, culturales y de actualidad.
III. OBJETIVOS ESPECIFICOS:
A lo largo del curso, el estudiante desarrolla la habilidad y los conocimientos para:
1. Apropiar
conceptos para la planificación de presentaciones formales mediante el
estudio de temas de interés académico y profesional con el fin de
desarrollar estrategias para delimitar temas específicos sobre los que
se va a presentar.
2. Desarrollar
técnicas de expresión oral a través del análisis y puesta en práctica
de técnicas utilizadas en contextos académicos y profesionales con el
fin de producir presentaciones orales de manera apropiada.
3. Valorar
influencias externas e internas de la presentación oral como la
entonación, preguntas de la audiencia, factores emocionales y de
distracción mediante ejercicios orales semi controlados y no controlados
que permitan aplicar la técnica apropiada en cada caso.
4. Evaluar
diferentes tipos de recursos audiovisuales mediante el análisis de su
aplicabilidad y uso con el fin de elegir herramientas tecnológicas
apropiadas para desarrollar presentaciones formales.
IV. METODOLOGIA:
En
este curso, el docente es el facilitador y guía, por lo que crea las
condiciones más apropiadas para establecer la plataforma de cumplimiento
de los objetivos.
Con la ayuda del docente, el estudiante practica diferentes estrategias para el desarrollo de técnicas de discurso. Estas a su vez se ven reflejadas en presentaciones orales donde el estudiante tiene la oportunidad de aplicar dichos recursos.
La
naturaleza teórico-práctica del curso implica la participación
constante en las actividades de práctica oral y escrita y otros
proyectos extra clase.
V. CONTENIDOS TEMÁTICOS:
1. Temas (tipo, delimitar, pertinencia, etc.)
2. Estructura de presentaciones orales
3. Postura y lenguaje corporal durante una presentación oral
4. Técnicas para presentaciones orales (pronunciación, respiración, manejo de la audiencia, etc)
5. Recursos audiovisuales
6. Presentación informativa y persuasiva.
VI. EVALUACION:
El estudiante demuestra su competencia al:
1. Desarrollar estrategias para delimitar temas específicos sobre los que se va a presentar.
2. Producir presentaciones orales de manera apropiada.
3. Aplicar técnicas de expresión oral de manera apropiada.
4. Elegir herramientas tecnológicas apropiadas para desarrollar presentaciones formales
a. Evaluación continua 20%
b. Informes escritos 15 %
c. Presentaciones (informativas) 30%
d. Presentaciones finales (persuasivas) 35%

First of all, Jim Parsons gave a big hug to the woman who was presenting the awards, then he thanked to the writer for gave him a character that he really enjoys to play, he thanked to the director for his patience, he also thanked to some people who were present and finally he apologized with his nephew Michael for no to be at his birthday party. We can see that Jim Parsons uses his hands a lot when he is talking and he looks very glad to the audience.

Her purpose in this speech is to tell us that Looks aren't everything in a entertain way because she made jokes of her model life at the same time, she informs how can be a life like a model and she talked about her experiences and feelings during her career.
ReplyDeleteCameron’s pitch showed that she was nervous and she didn’t present the correct pacing. Her body langue was fine except her eye contact because when she forgot or did not know how to say something she looks at the floor.
Her attention getter was unusual as she got other clothes that make her feel comfortable, and then she used a lot of images.
Finally, she said a natural and beautiful conclusion about acknowledge the power of image in perceive of successes.

DeleteThe student is talking about university learning techiniques and methods. The student seems to know about the subject she is talking about she,s a little nervous but she can greatly control it. The student has an accurate tone of voice , her eye contact is appropiate because while she talks she looks the the audience too. She uses her hands increasing audiende attention.

Hello guys. This commercial is from the brand Dove. It´s contains information of a real survey done with 111 women and according to this survey 9 out of 10 women who tired Dove Compressed deodorant got good results of using this product. They said that the skin of their armpits was more moisturized, soft and delicate. The commercial also uses the causal-reasoning by suggesting that if you try the product, then you will love it. I consider this advertising is effective, because I as a woman would buy one of this deodorants.

Hi people. This comercial is from SEAT Alhambra 2014 . It is a smart car . This video contains information about the car in the usage of Logic reasoning by the facts the car has (Applied Technology). Then it shows us the emotional part because the family is happy and safer. Also the ecological technology persuades me because we are in a ecological era.
